Run Ashley! Run!

I have been running. I am not kidding when I say that a couple months ago I could not (Could not!) run to the end of my driveway if my life depended on it! So I signed up for a 5k with a friend. She is a runner and I was a bit (ok, a lot) nervous to run it. I was hoping when I signed up for it that I would just be able to run half, or most of it. Luckily I have been getting stronger and was able to run the whole thing...and Keep up with Lori! 5k isn't much of a run, but it was my first so I wanted it to be fun. On this run we started out with plain white T-shirts. The course had 5 color stations where they would powder, and spray you with dyed food grade corn starch. (it washed off easier than I imagined). Here are some photos, luckily all of my friends are great photographers, so all I have to do is go with them places and I get good photos.

Easters

The Easter Bunny found us in California, and he still remembered to hide the boy's baskets. Ryan had to follow the string (extension cord) but Wyatt was old enough to just go find it without the help of a string.

The got totally spoiled from both grandparents. Toys and candy galore!
Nana and Robin came out to visit, they were in love with the attention!

That bunny hid the eggs really good, but Wyatt still found them!

Uncle John got to come down and met Rose and help bless her.
 New little family!

I love these pictures of the kids and my mom and dad! They look amazing for being so stinking old, huh?
I love this, I just need to get better at taking photos and editing them. All the grandkids!
On our way home we got to stop and see Grandpa Brown. We feel really lucky that we get to see him when we come home. The boys really liked the airplane make from soda cans hanging in his room.
We had such an awesome trip home. Seeing family is so important to us!

California Trip

We went back to California for Easter. We had so much fun. W really love the relationships that the boys have with both sides and are so grateful for everyone who takes their time and effort to come spend time with us! We had a lot of fun things planned in one short trip.
