The small and simple things

Lately I have been recognizing the small and simple mercies in my life. I am so incredibly blessed that I can hardly believe it! I have been savoring the last little bits of Summer with my little guys, enjoying new things with them, and watching them grow up. Some times I look at them and think " I am going to miss three year old Wyatt!" or "I love Ryan as a baby!" They are amazing!

Wyatt is the best older Brother. I know in the future that may change, but they are such good friends right now. Wyatt shares a lot and is really patient with Ryan. here he is sharing a cowboy hat I had bought him, with Ryan.

He was even making sure it was good and snug on Ryan before he crawled off.

Speaking of crawling...we aren't seeing much of that here anymore. Ryan has really gotten motivated to walk more and more. He has been able to walk for a while, but preferred to crawl. We are excited for our little guy to turn one soon!

We've had Jenn here for a couple of weeks and it has been awesome. She is really nice to the boys, has fun teasing with Brandon and has been my walking/shopping/playing/errand wing man! I have been having a blast!

I got to go to the water park with the boys today, and I laid down with Wyatt and Ryan in the shallow end of the beach. The clouds were big puffy white, and the mountains were green. The boys were having so much fun and their eyes matched the sky! I was so happy! I wished I could have stayed there forever. I love those boys and have had so much fun taking them places and watching them grow! Amazing!

Ch, Ch, Ch, Ch..Changes

When you try to look at Ryan's 3 (yes 3!) new teeth on the top......

He gets a little upset! The top one finally broke through on August 4th after much hard work on his part! I think when a baby gets their top teeth, they look so different and much older.

Ryan also decided that he would try walking (although he really still likes to crawl and only walks when he wants something that's pretty close.) He started walking on July 16th at my Grandma's house, my Mom and Kenn were there to see it! Kenn has been helping him and working with him to walk a lot!

And here's one of my big happy boy. He just played his last soccer game and then it's on to preschool next month!

Up House

Brandon had heard that the Parade of homes this year had built a house just like the one in the movie Up! Wy was crazy about that movie for a while. Brandon is such a fun Dad and looks for cool stuff to do like this all the time!

I love that they have the balloons from the chimney!

The details were amazing! Mr Fredricksen sitting outside was so cute!

Of course they made everything working because the house is up for sale. Just $400,000!

The house also had Andy's room in it! So much fun!

It was a blast! Thanks for taking us Daddy!

Soccer

We signed up for Itty Bitty Soccer through the city and Wyatt has been loving it!

They separated them into teams by countries and he just happened to be on team U.S.A.! His favorite part is getting into a huddle and saying "Go U.S.A."

He liked stretching...
but got bored sometimes (ok a lot) and would find other ways to entertain himself...like dragging himself on the ground.
He is learning a lot of new skills and really liked kicking the ball into the goal.
Were proud of our little soccer player.
Team U.S.A.
We also just signed him up for preschool, so we are excited about that! Big Boy Wyatt!

24th celebration

For pioneer day we went to a ward activity. Daddy helped Wy decorate his bike so he could be in the parade.

At the activity they had set up a huge water slide...Wyatt was in heaven. He kept cutting in front of other kids and sliding out of turn because he was so excited to go down again.
Later that night we went home and did sparklers. It was a fun day!
