U of U and me

Beez's sister plays for the U of U girls volleyball team, She is really good. Wyatt and I decided to go check it out. Of course I get him dressed up all cute and he poops all over himself. Luckily I had an extra outfit!

Bro Sho looking fabulous! He won the most spirited fan award!

Here are some photos of him before the game.
7 Weeks already!

7 weeks

Wyatt was really being interactive with Brandon the other day. he was cooing and following movements with his eyes and smiling when Brandon would talk in a very deep voice, of course when i pull out the camera he stops and just yawns, but at least you get to see him interact a little in this video.

$100.00 Goes A Long Way

Well we posted a few weeks ago about our new found food storage/coupon lady. All I can say is wow. We get all the good deals for the week. Ashley just prints out her list and goes to Wal-Mart. She then price matches everything thats on sale at other stores. I can't believe how much she brings home. All this was $100.00

Here is her web site, for those of you wondering

We pretty much have dinners for three weeks planed and we added to our storage

I cant say enought about this. If you live in Utah you should give it a try.
Here is her blog
Good luck and let us know if you try her service

fun to do,to do,to do,to do.....

I know this photo looks sad But I was laughing hysterically while taking these. ( a Jack Nicholson in the joker kinda laugh) No, I just found it funny because he was so upset that I put him in the swing, so when I took him out he started wailing more. I may be the only one to find it funny though.....

So after the cry fest I took the little guy to the Lehi library (I know it sounds too exciting for one day, but I like to live on the edge!)

I was also laughing hysterically when I took this picture, but only because I was thinking to myself. "Who brings a camera to the stupid library just so she can get proof that she is doing things during the day?" Yeah that would be me.....

P.S. I'm not retarded with the post title, it's a primary song. my in-laws are probably thinking "She typo'd on the post title....."

Reunited and it feels so good

Brandon had some mission companions from the phillipines come over with their families to catch up and tell stories. The guy to his right was his trainer when he first got there. They were all very nice and it was a lot of fun to hear the stories!

6 Weeks

Just thought I would show you the little Guy at 6 weeks! He is getting big! Brandon weighed him and he is up to 11 pounds!

Family Sunday

Just thought I would share cute photos from today.

Brandon helped me out by getting him dressed. He is such a great dad and when he is here everything goes smoothly.

Our fifteen seconds

Beez called me wanting to know if I wanted to go with her (BTW her real name is Jessica) and her husband Harrison to see a copy of the declaration of Independence. I am so glad she called! It was a lot of fun to hang out and catch up with her and her brother and sisters families! (We waited for about 3 hours so we had PLENTY of time to catch up!)

While we were waiting in line a camera man was walking around from our local news, I knew he was probably looking for someone to film so I flashed him my big smile and he must have thought me, Beez and Shannon were hot because he came up to us and asked if he could interview us.....(that's just what I'm telling myself) anyway Wyatt and I and the rest of our group were featured on the 5:30 local news that night. (Bill thank you for talking Brandon into TiVo because I recorded it and now I can watch myself over and over!) I know I am gross exploiting my newborn son, but I had to wake him from his afternoon nap to be on TV!

anyway it was really fun and neat to see it. A volunteer told us the story of this copy of the declaration. I guess several copies were disbursed the night the original declaration was written. This particular copy was found behind a painting that someone bought at a random auction.

So Wyatt and I are finding cool things to do with our time. If I can find the link to the New cast we were on I will post it.

Gardening

We went to the Thanksgiving Point Gardens today. It was very pretty! Brandon and I joked that we are going to bring Wyatt to everything before he is two because it is usually free. Then we can say "Wyatt you have already been to disneyland" when he is 10!

Five weeks old! He seems to recognize faces now (at least he focuses on our faces) ....
but I don't think he is smiling purposefully yet, even though it seems like some smiles are meant for me! I think he is pretty cute!

On the road again...

Wyatt took his first trip this last week. We took him back home to introduce him to some aunts and uncles and Great Grandmas and Grandpas. He did pretty good on the car rides. I kept thinking that he needed to get out and stretch from his car seat, but I guess he likes to be curled up and bundled anyway. It was so nice to see our families, he will grow up so fast we just want them to get a lot of him. I will be bringing Wyatt back next month when my sister Amy has her little baby girl so my mom and dad can dote on their two new Grand kids. here are some of the photos from our week

Grandpa Stewart

The Stelzers and Great Grandma Judy

Nana, Grandma Bowman

Great Grandpa Brown

Sunday was Wyatt's first time at church. He was asleep and quiet until the music started and then he screamed until I left right after sacrament. We will try sacrament this next Sunday and see how we do.....
I can't believe My baby is four weeks old!
By the way the Food storage website is http://www.myfoodstoragedeals.com/ If you go to her blog she talks about her experiences but this first page is if you want to sign up for her mail lists.

Food Storage

Have you noticed how almost every picture of him is in this bouncer? Well I swear I move him around he doesn't spend his entire life in it. We went shopping today...more on that later... and he was pretty wiped out! He kept puckering his lips in his sleep so I tried to catch it is this next photo.

We have finally gotten on the ball and are starting to stock up on food storage/ year supplies. Brandon found this website that helps tell you which things are great to stock up on, when their on sale, how to cook from your food storage, so we read one of her samples for the week and got the following:
20 boxes of cereal (Kellogg's brand not that cheap crap)
10 apple juices bottles
10 packages of diaper wipes
10 Clorox bleach
10 (cheap brand) instant oatmeal boxes
all for $60.00 Kellogg's cereal for $1.00 a box is pretty good in my book. I got tons of rice Krispies becase I love to make rice Krispies and if world war three or tragedy strikes I know it won't be so bad if I can have rice Krispie treats!

so our food storage room is coming along and now I have a little stash being built up. Anyone who has some food storage for dummies tips let me know! I have been trying to think of things that will be really easy to make and eat. I'm definitely not the food storage Queen yet.
