2 weeks

Ry guy is two weeks old today! When we went in for Wyatt at two weeks he had gained 9 ounces, and the Dr. said that was really pretty good. Boy was she impressed with Ryan's weight gain. We left the hospital with him weighing 6lbs 11oz, and today he weighed 7lbs 9oz. that's two ounces shy of a pound! At least I know he is getting enough to eat. He passed inspection so I guess we have to keep him. He is a really good little eater and a pretty good sleeper. He has fallen into the same eating and sleeping pattern that Wyatt did which makes things very predictable and relatively easy for me.

Also Nickell posted some of the photos of Ryan on her photography blog. I am really thankful that she took these photos for us! I thought it would be fun to show you a photo of Ryan and Wyatt in the same blanket to compare.

Two Boys

We have almost survived two weeks with two kids! Ryan is a sweetheart and is a great eater and sleeper. We had photos taken by my two favorite photographers this past week. I am excited to compare some of Wyatt's baby photos to Ryan's and see the similarities between them.

Wyatt seems gargantuan to me since I have been home from the hospital! He is such a big boy!

Wyatt has been really receptive to his new baby brother and hasn't shown jealously....yet.

I am overwhelmed with love for these two boys!

Our family who traveled up to visit are all gone, and are missed very much!

The past few days

Ryan Stewart Bowman

Well here he is!!!! Born Sept 13 at 3:24 pm.

Everything went well. Mama and baby are doing great. They should be home soon.

Wyatt seems to like his brother.

Ryan is 6lbs. 15 ounces. He likes to eat and poop!

My view and Deja vu

First off here is Ryan's nursery. I really love the airplanes, and was pretty protective of them when Brandon mentioned changing nursery themes. Getting all the baby stuff out and hanging it up has been total deja vu to me. I keep remembering how excited I was when I did this the first time! All his little newborn clothes are so cute, I can't wait to put another little stinker in them!


And here is the big boy in his big boy room. He has been doing great and hopefully that will continue when the baby shows up. Although we put in a new mobile from Bill and Heather (you can see two in the photo above ha ha) and after that Wyatt has been asking to nap in the crib so he can play with the "kite".

Here we are at 37 weeks. I figured I needed to get some pregnancy photos as proof that this baby is indeed from me. I seriously only have a couple. This kid was going to think the stork dropped him off or something.

And I still have a couple weeks...hopefully I won't expand too much more!
