Boo Hoo

So I have been sulking (sulking? is that the word?) over my lost Christmas photos. Back up your photos every time, I'm begging you people! BUT...I figured it was time to get over it and move on. But thank you for a great Christmas everyone, what matters most is the memories! Shortly after new years my parents had to come up to Utah, and they brought Amy and Cali along for the trip.
Wy and Cali are a pretty fair fight against each other. They both will grab things and run away from the other and not be shy if they want something, or don't want to other to have something! It was really fun seeing them interact, they are so cute!

Cute! but really hard to get a good picture of them both looking at the camera, smiling!

We took them sledding and they seemed to like it even though their faces don't say so....

It is really fun having them so close in age.

MIA?

I will hopefully be up and running in a little while, I apparently beat our computer too much, and he has started fighting back. He sabotaged my photos folder. (but I fooled him and backed almost (almost...sigh) everything on an external hard drive!) Shhhhh! Just don't tell him, or he might plan something with the hard drive.......

Sledding

Our community has a large park with lots of little and big hills. It was the PERFECT spot to go.

We started with small hills (very small) and worked our way to bigger ones (still small).

I showed him some kids going down and said "look Wyatt, WEEEEE", so he would say "Wee" while going down.

Nursery

Taking an 18 month old to church is hard. Really really hard! So you can imagine how relieved and excited Mormon Mothers are to be able to send their little ball of energy to Nursery when they turn 18 months old! I had actually been looking forward to it for a while, but today was his first day....

He did really well. He ate his snacks (and several of the other kids leftovers) and played with toys and tried to make friends with one little girl whom he kept patting on the head.

I on the other hand was so emotional. I didn't think I would be, but seeing him pretty much jump out of my arms and not look back made me realise that he is growing up, and it will never stop. Pretty soon he won't need me to do everything for him. I feel like I just brought this little baby home, and now he can sit in a chair and sing twinkle, twinkle, little star (well make hand gestures to the song) like a big boy!
I cried on the way home. I never thought it would affect me like this! Luckily he did well and the teachers are really nice. Hopefully I can learn to let go and not hover and stay for all of nursery like I did today.......Hopefully.......probably not..........:).

So much to blog....

...but so, so lazy! I am (finally) posting the photos taken by Nickell, that I have been wanting to post since they were taken in early October. They were a surprise for Christmas. I love, love, love them!

Isn't Brooke the cutest thing! So photogenic!

My (big) baby!

My Favorite.
