The grahm cracker incident

I love love love church! I love going, I love learning about My Father in Heaven and Jesus Christ. But I don't love going with a toddler. Wyatt has been intentionally chocking himself for a couple days. I Gave him some crackers in church to help him be quiet, but I found out quickly what a mistake it was!
Mom: Here is a grahm cracker my precious baby boy....
Baby: I think I should eat as many grahm crackers as can, and then try chocking myself...
Mom: stop,*smacks hand* don't choke yourself (said quietly during sacrament)
Baby: too late *gagging* *coughing* *hurling*
Mom: Great!
Yup, it was all over him, all over the pew, and all over me. I caught most of it in my hand, but who cares? How am I going to get it out of my hand? I wiped my hand on his sweater, cleaned my self with baby wipes (BTW- I only had like half of a baby wipe left) Cleaned the pew with both of Wyatt's socks. Concerned neighbors came with paper towels (thank you!) I went home to start my third load of laundry this week. We both still smell awesome. Did I mention that I really do love church?

Cougar Town

We went to the BYU homecoming parade this morning. My Granddad was Cosmo (BYU'S mascot) in the '50's and Wyatt had to represent! His shirt says "Cosmo Gradkid"

This is My granddad with Larry Gelwix. Larry has been the coach of Highland High school's rugby team. The movie Forever Strong that came out last year was inspired by him and his team's history. The Highland rugby team has an unbeaten record since its founding in 1973.

Brandon was excited to see the set for College game day.

How much fun is it to be in a parade? I bet my cousins had a blast. How neat to be a part of it!

My granddad is a great guy with awesome life stories. I hope one day he will write a book about his life, if not just for his family to read! He is a good example of working hard and being positive. I love him and My grandma Whiffen (who is the BEST Grandma in the world....hands down!)

Merry October!

Merry came into town, so I made everyone pose for a group photo. It was so much fun seeing her and getting to hang out with just "us girls" after dinner. Brandon I'm sure was glad he went to the basement, because we were having a good 'ol girly time.

We went to the doctor and he is in the 97% for height! We weighs 24.5 pounds and is growing up too fast!

A couple of weeks ago Brandon had a really bad earache. We hadn't found a family Dr. for him yet, because he would just get a yearly physical from the flight Doc at work. We found one for his earache. It wasn't going to be his full time Dr. just an emergency one for this problem. I was going to go to him, but found a guy I liked a whole lot better. I AM SO GLAD NOW THAT I DIDN'T GO TO HIM....check it out.....

Cornbelly's

The Bowmans came into Utah! We were so excited for them to stay with us. That first night we went to cornbelly's. It was so much fun!





There was lots of yummy corn!

Channel 2 news saw how beautiful Brooke was , so they asked for her to do the duck races on live T.V. She did great!

We braved the corn maze. Uncle Jason kept scaring Aunt Ashley. Uncle Brandon told Brooke about the corn maze killer.

We went to Boondocks fun center on Friday. We had a lot of fun!

Brandon loves when Brooke comes, because he can act seven too!

He liked these African birds, I forget their name, they were loud!

He really got excited when any bird came close to him.

there was a little area closed off that I let him out to run around in. He was loving it in there. The birds weren't very afraid of him, and he touched one. He looked at me and laughed. It was so cute!
