Growing

Hey we have just about 6 weeks left! People keep asking if I am to that "I'M so uncomfortable, get him out, I'M sick of being pregnant!" stage yet? So far i am excited to see him and finally put him in everything and see him, but I'm not to the uncomfortable stage yet. I feel like I'm still walking pretty normal and not waddling, and He isn't too heavy yet. I'm sure it's coming though! My stomach is starting to itch more and more now, but I keep it pretty saturated with lotions and oils. So this was just a growing update.

I have to say it was not my fault though...The motor stoped

Its amazing what a little glue and duck tape can do... The 2nd and 3rd flights went better....But the 4th landed a little hard, so now I need a new prop... Anyways I will keep you informed,

I just read the comment Mandy left on our last post and I got to thinking that I love Airplanes too! When we found out we were having a baby I knew that I wanted to decorate the room in airplanes (for a boy of course, if it was a girl the poor thing would have had some crazy lacy and pink room)

My dad is an engineer working on airplanes. I remember him taking us out to his work as a kid and having us watch the B-2 Bomber take off. So then I grow up and married into the Aeronautical Family. (Hello Bowmans!) We got a couple air traffic controllers, a couple pilots and a runway with rocks in it down in Mexico. I got to see a lot of up close and personal cool planes while we were down in Arizona those years! Heck I even watched Santa come in on an airplane to deliver presents (and you all thought he had a sleigh)

I love flying, mostly because an airplane trip means I am going home to see our family, or to somewhere great on vacation! So his room isn't completely finished, we still have photos of old planes to print and hang, but I think it is coming along great. I hope Wyatt grows up liking airplanes as much as we do!

California Baby Shower

I got to fly home Thursday for my baby shower in California. Heather was Very nice and threw one for me so that all the ladies who knew me growing up could be there! I loved going back. It's kinda pathetic that I was crying when I saw palm trees as we were landing in Burbank. I love spending time with our families and really appreciate seeing them!


Heather and Bill went above and beyond with this shower! The small details that they did for me and Wyatt made the shower so meaningful and special.

I loved seeing the families I grew up with from home! I am really grateful they came and spent time with me.


My mom and Amy got to go with me while I was home to see the Romney's who had just had a baby girl. She had lots of dark hair. After seeing them and the Blair's baby I think I will try to eat a lot of spicy foods and get this baby out of me! Holding them made me want him here, but I know he has a lot of growing to do these next 8 weeks, so i guess I'll be patient. Thanks to everyone for attending the shower and showing so much love for our family!

a sneek peek

Pop Pop (Brandon's dad) really wants to spoil Wyatt!! He found us this rocker glider! I'm sure I will be kissing his feet when this is the only thing that will put him back to sleep at 3:00AM. Thank you for the mother's day gift!


We couldn't post about getting fetal photos done until our mothers had gotten the packets we sent them with the DVD and photos from it for mothers day, but they have gotten it so here are some of the best images. He really likes having his hands up by his face so we only got a couple of good shots, but we are going to go back in a couple of weeks to see if we can get some better ones.



In both photos you and see to the side of his right cheek his foot! I would have never imagined he were so crammed in there! I also see his big lips like his daddy and Heather! (just as long as he doesn't get my big nose!)


I get to speak in church on sunday. they wanted to have a young woman not married, a young "pregnant" mother (me), a mother with children, and a grandmother speak. I'm really excited I just wish my mom and the "mothers" in my life could be there to hear me! All of them have really helped shape me into a good person, and hopefully a good mother soon. HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY LADIES WHOM I LOVE!
