I love this little boy!

we're all a little backwards here

Wy is finally going places in his walker! He loves it! Only problem is he can't go forward. Also he is turning onto his stomach all the time now, after a lot of practice with daddy, but now he is turning round and round in his crib. He is very preoccupied during nap time. He will sleep on his side now and sometimes I will go in to wake him up and he is sleeping on his tummy.
P.S. The music in the background is awesome huh?

These PJ's are size nine months... He is growing up so fast! He is doing the "wiggle worm" like he wants to crawl to get things, but eventually he gives up and rolls to his back and screams for Mom to get it.

Brandon and I played a game with some friends in Phoenix and it was really fun. It's a really strategic game and I was surprised at how much I liked it. (of course Brandon loved it) Well we have been coming out of our shell in our ward (only took us over a year to do) and have started playing the game with some friends who have the game. We love it and have played several times! I have also been going to aerobics and "zumba" work out classes at the church and I love them!

The game is called Settlers of Catan. I highly recommend it , if you have it and you live close....Game on!

so bored

I hate not being able to go outside... it's too cold! We had already read almost every book we own, ate, got dressed, looked in the mirror, played peek-a-boo,rode the horse, sat in the walker, did dishes.......... and it is only 10:17! We decided to dance:




It was fun! ....... now it's 10:23....Oh well.....

6 month check up

First off I am shocked at how fast time is flying! SIX MONTHS! that is crazy! He is doing really well and is such a happy boy. The doctor always comments on how friendly he is. He is 18 LBS and 27 inches. ( about 56 percentile in both areas.)

This is the cute outfit that Grandma Judy got him with the little ears on the hood! I love it...



and this vest Brooke and Aunt Shannon and Uncle J got him!

I have decided that everyone in our families gets him cuter clothes than I do so I am going to let them be his stylist, not me......

Good taders Alfe

Wy will sometimes say "ma ma mum mum mama" which I have been desperately trying to get a video of but every time I point the camera his way he get too fascinated and won't preform . He will scream , but that isn't as cute as the ma ma thing.


I have, however, manged to catch his newest quirk. He chews like this video shows, even when he isn't eating. He just chews on air. I wonder if this is just a new trick he learned or if it's his sign for being hungry...

New trick

As I was changing his diaper we found out he could do a new trick. Now this happens every diaper change.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY

It is the one year birthday of our blog! yay!

We finally got Wild Billy a walker, we looked at a lot and wanted to find one that had all, or most of the features we wanted, We just didn't make sure he could reach the ground! Oh well! He will grow into it...

I have been making baby food and I must admit I am obsessed! It is so easy and I find it really interesting and fun! I'm sure if I was busy working or had multiple children it would be a lot harder,but for now it is great! I will have to do a post on my experiences with it and let those interested know. I have found it is easier to do certain types over others!
