I have to say that I love having people we grew up with around me. When we lived in Arizona no one knew who i was talking about when i would mention people I knew and people Brandon and I went out with. Now up here we have quite a few people who can laugh with us when we reminisce about who we dated and funny high school photos! I tortured Brandon with some of the long and very mature journal entries from my high school years last night! He was a good sport though and let me read out loud a few. I was really good about keeping a journal in high school (most of it) and now i just laugh and laugh reading it. Brandon and I went and saw Leatherheads Tuesday and Baby Mamma Saturday. We figure we should see all the movies we can now! I said to him last week "Just think only 10 more weeks and life will never be the same!" ( I meant it to be a neat statement, I think he had a little panic attack) Speaking of panic attack I have been trying to prepare myself for going to the hospital and having this baby so after reading all about deliveries and what to bring I decided it would just be a swell idea to make Brandon watch a real life birthing video with me! He could see what happens , I could see what happens.....GOOD GOSH HOW IN THE HECK IS THAT GOING TO COME OUT OF THAT???......WHAT IS THAT??? OUCH OUCH OUCH!!!! We have decided to post pone looking or talking about the delivery until a later date. I was much happier not knowing what is going to happen to me.

POOR BABY!

No not my real baby, my poor dog Luke. He has had to put up with a lot since we have been getting stuff for the baby. I guess i have just been so excited for Wyatt to arrive i can't wait sometimes to put him in his things.... literally i can't wait, so Luke feels the wrath of my obsession!




he is a good sport though and is quite used to me dressing him up. The only thing he wasn't too crazy about was the diaper, but can you blame him? But seriously Thank you , everyone, for your gifts and love for our little family. We are so lucky to have such thoughtful and wonderful people in our lives!

Wyatt Has A Place To Sleep!!!

Well thanks to Bill and Heather, Wyatt has a crib for his room.

Brandon and I found it last night and its the prettiest crib I have ever seen.


We were able to get the dresser as well so the major part of Wyatts room is done. Now comes all the fun stuff of painting and adding cute little baby things. I cant thank Bill and Heather enough this is a dream come true.

Ashley's Shaggin Wagon

Well as you can see Ashley is over six months along.... So it time for her to get a new road machine

So she picked out the one she wanted and after 36 hours of negotiations we drove it home..

There she is our lean mean fighting machine... So when you see Ashley in your rear view mirror talking on her phone and yelling at Wyatt, you better get outta her way.

Orange soda anyone?

So i went to the lab to take my glucose tolerance test. I was worried because everyone was saying how nasty the drink was, but it tasted like orange soda! I didn't mind it at all. Brandon and I are going to tour the hospital soon. I'm so glad that they will let you take a tour and give you a better idea of what to expect. We went to the doctor earlier this week and they listened to Wyatt's heart and measured my abdomen for the first time. They say your uterus should grow 1 centimeter per ever week you pregnant. We are measuring right on 26 CM for 26 weeks! I'm also so grateful for all the ladies (I guess some men are included) in my life who have already had children and have advice for me. We couldn't do this without our families and friends! (I also consider pregnancy books, magazines and Web sites in this category!) So a couple more random thoughts and I'll be done... Our friends the farmers have two kids and when they come over their little one Lili is pretty afraid of Luke. I think it's because he is her height and loud and crazy when people first come over. Not to mention he is completely food obsessed and kids usually have food in their hands. Sarah brought them over for dinner last night and she started off frightened by him, but as the night went on she started to want to touch him and even laughing at him! It helped me feel a little better about having our baby (thanks for letting us test him out on your kids ha ha!!) I worry about him having a hard time with a new "baby" instead of him, but i saw how he just wants to play and doesn't get mean or jealous of the kids. He is loud and smelly, but he is a really good friend! I think he'll like Wyatt!

P.S. Monday the 14Th we will have exactly 3 months until our due date!!!!

Homemaking mode....

I think it might be a little too early to be have the "nesting" instinct everyone says a pregnant woman gets, but I sure had some kind of urge to make things this weekend. and i even had a wedding and a family party, so we were busy. My mother's side of the family (The ones who live in Utah) all came over for dessert after General conference. it was a lot of fun having Grandad making his famous milkshakes and the kids climbing our "rock wall" in the backyard.




Brandon always talked about how great his Grandma Bowman's strawberry jam was, so one day in Arizona i decided to call her and make it for him. She let me know how and i made a TON. They must have been good because Brandon liked it! My family came to visit and I sent them home with some jars also because they liked it so much too. I have been seeing strawberries all over and eating a lot of them, so i decided to get a big flat of them and make some more jam!
I also found the cutest material at Wal Mart (after looking EVERYWHERE for airplane material) so i also made Wyatt a blanket. It was the perfect nostalgic airplane pattern i was looking for! And last but not least a photo of me at 26weeks (6 months) I should have had Brandon take the picture , but this is what you get.

Fooled Ya

I got to help someone get April fooled yesterday. A friend from my ward called and asked if i would help play a prank on her husband. I said of course. She said that her husband got her a couple years ago, but had forgotten about April fools this year. She came over and brought a pregnancy test, which i took for her. She is going to leave it out for her husband to find and see what he says. ( I think he will be stunned because she has a 4 month old!) I have never been good at pulling pranks, but maybe ill find a good one and one day get Brandon.....
