bedtime song

I usually sing to Wyatt while trying to put him down to sleep at night . I usually sing a primary song or something like that.Last night I was still finishing up dishes and Brandon took Wy into the room to help get him calmed down and ready for prayer. Brandon taught a primary class for a couple of months I think when he was first a member and only knows the Sunbeam song and that's it. As I was getting ready to come in to take over I heard Brandon singing...... ( which was cute on it's own because he will usually just talk to him)...... the Air Force song. It was so funny!!!! I need to start teaching him some nursery rhymes or something!

Bug -a-boo

YAY! Spring is here. (Hopefully to stay!) We have been getting to put him in some cute summer outfits and he is so dang handsome!

He is crawling at the speed of light and is interested in touching and exploring everything. He will hold up his arms like he wants you to pick him up, but he really just wants to hold onto your fingers and walk. I think it won't be much longer until he is walking on his own, But who knows he is so good at crawling he may just do that forever.

Wy just keeps discovering new talents and I love the phases of them! It is so funny when he figures out something new, because he will obsess over it for a couple days. I even heard him doing this in his room when he woke up from a nap...he was just practicing. LOVE HIM!

happenings on

The weather has been nice here so we have been enjoying walks and weeding (well enjoying the walks at least, maybe not the weeding) It has been fun putting him in his little short sleeves again. He is looking like such a big boy!

He will sit on a blanket outside while I weed and most of the time he won't get off because he still isn't too sure about grass and if he hates it or not. Apparently he got over the grass fear because I turned and saw him eating cedar wood chips and as I pulled it out I also found a pretty good chunk of grass in there....Awesome!

Also had to show you his new favorite place to rest and play...that's right folks the dog bed.....almost as awesome as eating dirt!

Leap of faith

He loves to be thrown around and ruff-house! We have been playing this game for a couple of days and he can't get enough of it.

My boy

My Dad was wanting to get Wy a little Hot Wheel car, but we forgot while he was up here so I bought him one today. Boys are just born with the knowledge of knowing how to make the car drive and make sounds! It was fun to watch. I also got him a light up toothbrush (but really it's for me)

My future airman? I guess we will see. I love these little camos and have been waiting for him to fit in them!

I ran out of food for Wy so I had a marathon couple of hours making him more....

and this isn't including the green beans, yams and peas....

Can you see his bruise? He has been standing up everywhere and is, consequently, falling all over the place.

"Oh Wyatt is looking so cute right now, let's get a picture....." Yeah Right! Boy has he been on the move. He has two teeth now, but I can't even get him to sit still for two seconds to show you...If he isn't climbing on someone (daddy in the photo below)
