The Temple

I had the opportunity to attend the Mt. Timpanogos LDS Temple with my mom when she was here. We went to see her Brother (my Uncle) and is Wife be sealed to each other and their Child for time and all eternity! The sealing was amazing! The Man conducting the Sealing was calm, and very kind. He made the comment that we were not there in the Temple because we were perfect, but because we were worthy....

I have been thinking about that ever since. When I think about the word worthy, I think about a hard earned privilege. Worthy isn't easy, but is sacrifice, diligence, and learning from mistakes! Worthy is knowing the requirements and aligning your practices with them.

I am thankful that I don't have to be perfect, because none of us can be. Heavenly Father doesn't require perfection, but effort worthy of ourselves and Him.

California knows how to Party!

Are you ready for the mother load of photos...Good! My Mom flew into town to see her Brother and his family get sealed in the temple. This worked out perfectly for her to be able to drive down with me and the monsters to California for John to come home from his mission. Here are all the girls of the family!

Plus everyone was meeting Ryan for the first time. This whole trip was a meet Ryan trip for most people.

We arrived home a couple of days before John flew back so the kids had some time to play and see grandparents.

Here is the day John was getting home. The kids were just excited about the flags at this point,

but they were really excited when John came in. Wyatt, Cali and Ryan all took to him so great! We all missed Uncle John!

Ryan meeting Uncle John

The next couple photos are just the cousins and the fun they had together.

Brandon was able to join us for the last week of the trip. Nana and Aunt Robin met Ryan and played with Wyatt! It was so nice of them to drive all the way up to see us. Big Pop pop and Grandma too!

Grandma Bowman took the kids to Chuck-e-Cheese again after the success of the Birthday party last year. They had a blast again. Even more this time being a little older.

Pop pop was so happy to be with his boys. He even got Ryan to eat solid foods like a champ!

Another day, Grandma Bowman too us to Scooter's Jungle. Wyatt had no fear and was loving everything they had to offer. This was serious fun!

Wy talks about riding Pop Pop's motorcycle all year long until we come down. He was so excited to ride again! This was also the bike's first time meeting Ryan , Ha!

The day before we left we went to see the big Bowmans and spend some time with the Stelzers! Man do we love seeing those guys!

Big Pop gave Wy a bag FULL of coins to throw in the fountain!

We love them!

On our drive back to Utah we were able to see Grandpa Brown! It was Ryan's first time meeting him! We were so glad we got to see him!

6mo stats

Ryan had his 6 month appointment today.
Weight: 16.27 (22.6 percentile)
Height: 25.88 (24th percentile)
I still think of him in my mind as my tiny little guy, but he is smaller compared to Wyatt. I don't know how he can be, because his cheeks and rolls say he is a chunky monkey! He is doing good on his abilities and can sit up for short(short) periods before he falls over. He is NOT into eating solid foods, no matter how consistently I offer, but I will persevere!

Wyatt at his 6Mo
Weight:17.86 (56.35 percentile)
Height: 27.75 (88.45 percentile)
Monster baby! I weighed Wyatt this afternoon and he is 34.2 pounds! Holy cow! I know their are bigger kids out there, but he is pretty big. My babies are growing up!

A much needed update

I got down the walker for Ryan. He doesn't even touch the ground, but it is only a matter of time before he goes backwards in it.

In the Sponge Bob PJ's Wyatt begged my to buy.

Nickell and I threw a baby shower for Beez, and I forgot my camera! So sad, but I came home with a little surprise for Wyatt and Ryan from the party!

Ryan loved it!
Whats that you say? ....Where is Wyatt? Oh, here are the best shots of him with the balloons...

Yup. He loved them though! he is still playing with the ones that aren't deflating...all. day. long.

Here is Ryan on his first St. Patricks day!

Brandon set a tent in the basement for he and Wyatt to go camping in that night! Wyatt was in heaven! He was so excited. He was so excited in fact that he woke Dad up at 3AM to start the party again. Poor Daddy, but such a trooper!

And I am still trying to figure out my camera and take photos of the boys in good lighting. I think their eyes are just amazing in the shots I get of them! Such handsome cuties!

And that is what has been going on around here! I love all the 30 day challenges that people are doing...I get so happy when people update their blogs! Yay!

Close

Wyatt- 6 Months

Ryan- 6 Months
I am starting to see more and more similarities between them.... Are you?

March

March! I have been waiting for March to come. Not only is it closer to warmer weather and flowers, but John gets home this month! I am so excited to see my brother and have Uncle John meet Ryan and become reacquainted with Wyatt.

Wyatt asked if we could go out in the wagon today, so we went to get the mail. Both of them really enjoyed it, despite the cold weather.

I have been looking through the photos I have and realised I have a lot more of Ryan than Wyatt this month. After reviewing more photo I have figured out that Ryan holds still and smiles much better than Wyatt! So we have more of him!

Brandon has been propping Ryan up and helping him sit for a couple of weeks, but this last week Ryan has been sitting and balancing himself! He definitely has a little ways to go before he is a master at sitting, but it is a start. I can't believe my little baby will be 6 months old this month!
